It is totally unconnected with ADDY. While many members of the list access it via an AOL account, many of us use other internet providers and the server that actually runs the list belongs to ExecPC, a private internet provider based in Milwaukee, WI. Those of you who do use AOL, please remember that telling someone who isn't an AOL client to (for example) "click on keyword to do such and such" is completely incomprehensible, because the option you're mentioning only exists for people using AOL's software. Now, I'm not saying it's wrong or against the rules to post a query about when the TBAA chat is on AOL, or any other question related to the show. It's perfectly OK to ask. But we'd appreciate it if the people *answering* those questions specific to AOL would do so by private e-mail. Our reasoning is this: the answer to "how do I get to the TBAA chat room?" is really only of interest to the person asking, not to the list at large. The same logic would apply, for example, to requests for information about what channel TBAA is on in San Diego or Atlanta, because the question is, by definition, not "of general interest". Is that quite clear? :) Good! :D That said, Jennie has graciously offered to answer any questions on how you find the TBAA chat room on AOL, when the chats are scheduled, or any other questions listmembers have. She's been with AOL for quite a while now, so if you ask her you're sure to get good, clear information. Those questions should be directed to her via private mail at finabair @ . . .addy.com That's all. Back to your regularly scheduled blathering. ;) Diane E # "Hydrogen. That's odd, we were told earlier that he's playing an angel. Since angels are not "recycled dead people", he can't play an angel who has a mortal son, so one of you *has* to be wrong. IIRC, someone (was it you, Susan?) said they had wanted him to guest star but it had had to be put off because his son died, and that he was playing an angel. You said your info came from a radio show. Maybe your radio host misinterpreted? :) Mind, I'm not saying you couldn't have it right, just that we seem to have contradictory information. Hmm...I don't think they "sugar-coated" any of it. I especially liked how the rape affected all of the characters and how that was portrayed. The rapist was trying to change, but still angry at his ex-wife and women in general; the woman who was raped was afraid and still blaming the husband for the rape; the husband was still blaming himself as well as the wife for the rape; the child was still afraid of "monsters". To me, all of that seemed fairly realistic. I loved how all of those emotions built up over time and affected the lives of the characters. I also think that the three angels did a good job trying to help out the people. Andrew certainly gave a speech at the end ( BTW, J/AIA members, for those who missed seeing it in previous eps. - he did his "Holy Angel Glow" ), Monica was a truthful counsoler (sp) and a "Divine Counsole", and Tess, naturally, put Carl in his place while delivering a message of redemption. I think it's interesting how there was no "tag" with the three angels, but maybe it was better to end it with Carl on his way back to jail with the dove following him. Just a thought *shrug*. I'm sure there is more I could point out, but, for now, I'll leave it at this. Did anyone see the previews for the next two eps.? I thought that one of them would be a "Part Two" for "PL". John alone is going to be on PL Tuesday and that's it with the crossover. Saturday's episode is probably just another regular TBAA episode. I figure CBS is trying to get all of the new TBAA shows in during sweeps and had one left over so they are showing it on Saturday. > The Sunday episode is the one Bill Cosby's guest-starring in. A week later, I was attacked in the park and by the grace of God managed to escape. It has been very hard to get through the pain and anger from those two experiences and though I have tried, they still color every moment of my life even today. This episode was wonderfully written in my opinion. Though my circumstances were very different, the pain and humiliation were very much the same. Though I have professed to forgiving that former friend, I realize that there are times very often that I really haven't and let the anger and hurt come back into my life. It is hard to let go, and I know it is only with God's help that I can. I don't know what would happen if I came face to face with that "friend" again, and I am thankful that I haven't had too. Ever sine, I've been feeling really angry and a lot of rage. I was raped by a friend who was at one time trying to become a priest.
