Finally, all of the pieces are in place and actual production begins on the ASU Male Athletes calendar and Todd Barrett Enterprises is born.
Todd approves the final product. The problem now is to sell it.
Off to the school bookstore.
Business genuis Todd tries to sell it without a marketing plan. Professor come along and reminds him that it requires marketing strategy to sell a product. Todd's light bulb comes on and he comes up with the perfect marketing idea - throw an autograph party with the atheletes. Now to get them to cooperate.
Brett - a serious athelete in training, wants nothing to do with this social event. Todd, as usual, never takes no for an answer and hounds Brett into agreeing to one hour. Did Brett really think Todd would let him leave in an hour?
Of course, here Todd is trying to convince poor, tired Brett that he has to stay longer. Finally Brett has enough and just leaves. On his way out the door, girls try to chase him down and who should be standing there but Dayna. She rescues him by hiding him in a stall in the ladies room and while they're hiding, they overhear two girls making up stories about Brett and what an animal? he is. He stands there shaking his head in disbelief and Dayna finally gets Brett out and home.
Todd goes to his professor for marketing advice and a general pep talk. Does every professors office look like this - mine did. He reminds Todd to go pay his tuition, which he does.
Upon returning home, Brett tells him that Jack called and Todd realizes it is time to pay back Cactus Jack. He checks the bank account on his computer and as you can see above, there is nowhere near enough to pay back the loan. What is he going to do?
Todd explains the situation to CJ - who is understanding. No problem, Todd. You have an extra 30 days and an extra 30% interest. Relieved to still be in one piece, Todd rushes off to figure out how to make even more money.
While contemplating his money-making options, Todd receives a phone call from Katherine at Image Magazine. She informs Todd that they want to use Brett in their new ad campaign. Could this be the answer to all his problems? Todd tells Katherine that she's in luck; he just happens to be Brett's agent. They make arrangements to meet in a few days.
